Product Description
Baroque Swarovski pearls, in a soft, silvery grey, book-ended by silver-plated and gunmetal-coloured bead-caps, and topped with tiny silver coloured and gunmetal coloured beads, are suspended from long, arched ear-wires.
Swarovski pearls are made by the makers of the famous Swarovski crystal, and have a crystal core that simulates the weight and feel of a real pearl. They are fade- and perfume-resistant, with a luxuriously smooth, flawless finish; and are generally regarded as the best imitation pearls on the market.
'Baroque' describes a pearl that has a roundish but irregular shape. Swarovski's version of this shape is a slightly oval faux pearl that is slightly 'pinched', flattened or depressed on multiple sides.
'Marguerite' is a French name, the French form of 'Margaret', which ultimately comes from a Greek word that means 'pearl'.
The 'Marguerite' earrings are also available in other colours here in my Zibbet shop.
The 'Marguerite' earrings measure 60mm from top to bottom, and the Swarovski pearls are 12mm across. The ear-wires are copper based, with a wonderfully smooth finish, and are without nickel.
